 "So far, so good" 2009-10-04
By David L. Harman
I have one of the nuvi's and it doesn't hold a charge for more than a couple hours tops making it useless on any trip of length without the cigarette lighter adapter. The garmin one that came with mine crapped out after a half a dozen uses and of course after the warranty, so I bought this one as a replacement. So far, so good, works in my 99 toyota tacoma and in my gf's 99 passat.

 "Better than the original!" 2009-09-29
By Laura L. Hall (Weatherford, TX USA)
Bought this replacement cigarette lighter power cord for my Garmin GPS. The original adapter had a screw top (for fuse replacement) that apparently unscrewed over time, and the pieces could not be located. This replacement does not have a screw top so we won't have that problem again. Plugged it in, works fine, and off we go on another trip.

 "Defective" 2009-09-22
By R. Parker
This product simply did not work properly. When plugged in, did not maintain connection. Returned for refund.

"Fits the Garmin perfectly, better quality than the factory piece" 2009-09-12
By J. Coulter
This charger is better quality than the original piece. The charging unit on the factory piece use to come off in 5 different pieces if you pulled it out of the cigarette lighter the wrong way. Eventually, we lost one of those pieces and the charger was useless. This Gilsson charger is MUCH better than the original. The charging piece is solid and there is no way that it could come apart.

"Does not fit Zumo 550." 2009-03-07
By E. Hummel
The Zumo 500 and Zumo 550 look almost identical, but they have different connectors. The Zumo 500 uses an 18-pin flat plug (which this product has), but the Zumo 550 uses a USB mini-B style plug. I couldn't use it since it didn't fit, so I can't comment on its performance.

"does not fit Garmin 276c" 2009-05-25
By Robert J. Gregor (spokane,wa)
I purchased this power cord for a Garmin 276 gps. I specifically wanted the one clearly pictured on the website that has the 90 deg bend at the end. I bought 2. I received the item and it does not fit the 276. The contacts are correctly placed but the rubber type product that is meant for a press fit into the gps is too small in diameter and the cord immediately falls out. The end of this cord is straight and not the 90 deg. It is packaged as a Garmin product with the 276c clearly on the package so I do not know where the problem lies. I tried to contact Antonline but they do not provide for any human to contact to explain/rectify the problem so I ended up sending the cords back and eating the shipping each way. Will never buy from Antonline again.Garmin 12-Volt Adapter Cable for GPSMap 276C (010-10516-00) I would personally verify with any vendor offering this product.

 "Different" 2009-01-26
By Marceloc (Miami, FL USA)
It works as it should but it's different from the picture. It doesn't carry the L shaped connector on the GPS side. It's more like an "I" connector!

"THE CABLE IS DIFERENT TO THE PHOTO" 2008-03-11
By Jose A. Contreras (Miami)
THE CABLE IT'S NO SAME TO THE PHOTO, DO NOT HAVE A TERMINAL CIGARETTE CONNECTOR, I LOST MY MONEY. I think you wrong the part, I receive Part No. RB, have a wiring diagram for make a Gilsson RB cable for install a DB-9 serial connector, but no, I buy to you other cable whit 12 volt adapter cable.

"Garmin GPS 12V power cable" 2009-09-04
By Chuck (Ireland)
I was on vacation in the USA & highly dependent on my navigation unit.

I've had my old cable about 4 years now & had just loaned it to a friend who was holidaying in Europe.

Anyhow, it failed to charge my GPS & I was driving in the states for the first time.

I checked the amazon site & managed to find a genuine part at a very reasonable price.

I had it shipped to my vacation address & it rreached me in less than 2 days.

Comment.......excellent product. Excellent service........& thanks you!

By M. Martin (South Carolina)
Works perfectly - is a Garmin labled cable. Much cheaper than on Garmin website.

"not bad at all for the price" 2009-08-20
By SoulChaser (chicago, il)
it works fine and it is cheaper than one in garmin site so...

don't know how long it would last though...

"4 stars - nothing is perfect.. but no problems" 2009-08-18
By Nicholas Birke (Upstate, NY USA)
This is a pretty simple product. If you have the product number right I would say you are all set. BE CAREFUL- I would recommend buying this specific product, it is not your everyday 12v adapter. There are electronics inside that are not inherent to the typical 12v adapter.

All in all - I am totally satisfied.
